When I left you last ...

Well, once again, it's been a while.

When I was last here we we're experimenting with a wheat free lifestyle (failed), Andrew was barely sleeping (he at least naps consistently now, and I have hope the future brings a night of sleep), I was obsessing over my weight (which has now, over years of dieting, crept to its highest ever. Like, really high. And I'm kinda over caring. I like food. I like wine. I should hike more often. But I'm totally over hating my body and I'm super over dieting).

Mostly things have stayed the same. I have renewed my interest in frugality (while eating some humble pie on my previous insistence that anyone can eat real food on a budget if only they try hard enough - cause, um, we're trying pretty hard and have had to give up a lot).

I did learn to knit, finally! I've completed 3.5 sweaters, 3 more planned before Christmas, along with a handful of hats and one pair of socks, whose sizes do not match. I kind of of love it and am so very glad I've finally got the hang of it!

I'm off facebook again, which is sort of what has led me back here once again, as a way to keep in touch with family and far away friends.  I have no idea if my link up from here to facebook is still working so if you've found me here via there say hello so I know it's working, please!

We are still computer-less which does make blogging and picturing (hence today's picture-less post) a tad more difficult!

The garden is growing. The kids are growing. Life is pretty good.
